18Ft Hydra-sports Bay

Anyone have any experience with these boats? I found one for a pretty good deal over in BR. And im thinking about pulling the trigger. Its in great shape besides needing the seat covers redone. Its got a 90 evinrude ocean runner on it.

soft

just check it for soft spots, trim the motor up some and push down on it to see if the transom is sound, with an ocean runner on it, is sounds like it is a mid to late 90s model it could have some rotting issues, that is a good motor if it wasn't abused, may be a bit small for and 18ft glass boat, i have a friend with a similar boat with a 115 that runs around 30-35mph

I have a 2000 hydra-sport 18cc. It rides nice and dry. I do have a 115 on the back and it does around 35 mph.

These always bug me because the name makes me think that they misspelled it.
