Painting a brick house

I?ll start off by saying I?m a college student so time is limited. My sister proposed that I paint her house to make some extra cash. It?s brick, and has never been painted before aside from the trim. Is this too much to handle for one person?

Wife and I painted our house one weekend. Wasn't too bad. Definitely a pia but we got it done. The bricks soaked up a sheet load of paint. We rented a spray gun from Home Depot. We used cardboard around Windows and whatnot. Biggest surprise was the amount of paint needed.

Just be sure to use a primer first. Go to a good paint store (not a big box store) and ask questions. I think there is a sealing primer for bricks so you don?t have it suck up all the paint so much.
