Hit a couple platforms and caught 4 limits of Snapper and 1 nice sized King on Pogy and small Sand Trout.
Water was a little rough till after lunch time. We were fishing around 95 ft. of clear water.
There was another boat fishing with us, they caught 5 limits of Snapper.

Nice, bet that was a fun trip

Ray 06-27-2010 08:44 PM

It was rough, but fun.
My brother in law like to **** a brick when I chunked them fish on his shiny new
front deck.
But the boat needed to be broked in right. Blood n slime.

Yes it was. It was the 3rd trip offshore, my second trip with him.

BayBolt23 06-27-2010 09:21 PM

Awesome man! It looks like it would have a good ride

meaux fishing 06-27-2010 11:35 PM

you eat them kings? that meat is way to gray for me to even think about it... they taste good?

Purple Back 06-28-2010 10:46 AM

I went 90 miles out Saturday, caught our limits of snapper and kings. It was a rough ride out but got calm around 10:30. Got on some big grouper again but could not manage to get one in the boat.

I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Yep, good eating. I don't fillet them, I pop the loins sections out and fry the same day I catch them. Taste great.
