Lanier Custom Boats

Just saw one on Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette. Thing looked pretty sweet. Any of you ever heard of them? Custom cats.

I want to catch a big trout though :-)

The boats where sold under the name brand of Fast Cat, been on one before ride is great and quality was great. Boat would top end at 75 -77 depending on load. The only downfall is Fast Cat had some quailty issues of late which cause them to go under. Lanier boats are now building the boats do not know anything about them.

My buddy bought a used one about 3 or 4 months ago but I haven't seen it yet. That's probably the one you saw Seth because I dont think theres too many around Laffy.

The angled decks near the gunwales on the LCB make for an odd footing to me. Quick, no doubt.
I would suggest you also call Eric Simmons at SCB if you are considering a Hi Per cat boat. Super guy and he makes 4 models in Kemah, TX. The "Obie Wan Kenobe" of super high performing cat fishing boats.
