Redfish Tourney at Big Lake?
 

My hope for last weekend happened and my little girl is hooked and wants to go fishing again bad!! My buddy and I are planning on taking her this Sunday to Big Lake. He knows the lake better than me so I am hoping she catches something bigger than last weekend. I heard there is a redfish tourney this weekend out there. Is that true? We may go Saturday night and stay so we can be at Spicer's at 5am when they open. That way we can at least hopefully beat some of the tourney folks out of the gate.

If its a redfish tourney you won't find them in the lake

That is good news! We are hoping to get Nell (my 8 year old) hooked into something she can eat and brag about. She keeps reminding me she caught the biggest fish last weekend!
