Its a mud flat most of the time in the winter. Water always looks like a crawfish pond that hosted a tractor pull.

Yea you don't wanna go in there, it's VERY shallow on high tide and has a bunch of rocks & other crap on bottom.

I have fished the canal on the bay side that leads into Tiger Lagoon. I drove all the way to the entrance of Tiger Lagoon. Have caught blue cats and a few drum and redfish in there.
