I don't post much anymore, but figure that some average joes like myself would like to know the conditions of the lake. Water looked great in the north end. Good in the south. The light winds had the lake smooth as glass yesterday afternoon. Water was 72-70 wherever I went. 4 of the larger trout and both reds came off top, rest on glow lil johns drifting through Turners. Flounder were caught off points with moving water on gulp swimming mullets. Grinded it out for the flounder, threw #10 back a couple times due to small size. Tried to finish off reds at weirs but passed due to crowd.

Dang McCheese. Nice work! I took my father in law and wife to look at camps Tuesday morning on the east side and wish I would have drug my boat when I saw how beautiful and calm the water was!

Great job! My son and wife were there a few days ago for our annual trip. We target flounder mostly and did below average this year. I seem to have trouble locating a good trout bite. We fished Turners 3 days and just caught a few trout, I think I move on too quickly if they are not jumping in the boat. Off the subject, we watched a crab boat run right over a man and wife fishing in Turners. They jumped out of the boat just before he hit. Crab traps were high blocking his view some and the 3 guys onboard I guess were just not paying attention. Both people were safe, boat torn up pretty bad but did not sink. We got to them immediately to help.
