Tomatoes = Soup or stew.

Gumbo has got to have Okra.

GIBob 10-10-2012 02:46 PM

Some folks count the use of File' as making a gumbo. It's the old word origin thing, African or Indian.

Origianlly gumbo was nothing more than tomaotes and okra with very little meat. Gumbo is actually some african languauge word for Okra.

jchief 10-10-2012 03:56 PM

Ok, y'all quit trying to stir up crap by posting propaganda about gumbo.

Next y'all gonna say jambalaya is Italian or something.
