Heck, even on good numbers we have some bad years. We will see if the pattern changes but you can't always take the numbers as what the season might actually be. That said? Haven't had high hopes in a while lol.

I agree. But when the survey is almost 8million birds lower than last yr then that?s bad. 3 yrs ago I believe we were about 50mlion birds at the survey time. Kind of crazy to think we were at 50million birds 3yrs ago and this yr closer to 40million.

Gonna be at the lease in Grand Cheniere Saturday doing some spraying. We normally don't hold any teal during teal season but it would be nice to see some.

We have been doing some field prep work getting ready to flood. Go to the canal to put the PTO pump in and it?s got no water in it well there goes teal season. My marsh is dry. When will I catch a brake. Well hopefully we get a flood in about 3 weeks. Lots of good food growing in marsh. Should make for an interesting big duck season if we get some water.
