Thanks Paul. I will be there! If it comes in that early I may get a chance to run it this afternoon

I just know if it were me, I'd be sitting in the parking lot all day waiting for the UPS truck to show up. I didn't want you spending all day waiting. Now you can just show up at 11:00 and wait. ;) Why waste the entire morning. LOL

Haha. I planned on calling around 1:00. I've already got the "mini" prop off and ready to slap on the new one.

Rides very well. Only complaint about the ride I have is that it doesn't take a cross chop as well as my old 21 Bay Champ. It does very well though. The huge Carolina flare just seems to get broadsided in a cross chop. It is extremely dry though. I cruise at 40-41 MPH at 4000 RPMs and the best top end I have seen so far is 63.8 MPH. The fuel efficiency at cruise with the 250 SHO is extremely impressive on this rig. Very glad I bought it!

Haha. Mine just has a liner in it....that's all

SaltyShaw 09-23-2012 08:50 PM

Naw I'm just exaggerating a little bit, I absolutely love my Haynie, but that BlackJack is a fine machine!
Yeh that liner is nice but I don't want to clean that bastid all the time lol

jldsc 09-23-2012 09:44 PM

The fit and finish in that blackjack is pristine podna . . . . .
Its kind of like comparing Apples to Oranges, Rolled Edge to Liner 2 way different looks inside the boat

Big Kahunaz 09-24-2012 08:08 AM

Baseball....how'd you and randy do fishing yesterday?

lavocat 09-24-2012 08:40 AM

Sorry I'm so late replying....been fishing too much to post here! If I remember right, we had 30-40 that day. I've fished almost every day since then so I tend to forget lol

What kinda prop did you end up running on your rig and what kinda performance are you getting ? I just bought the same rig same color in and out as yours. Only diff I see is my leaner , ladder , and grab rails are powder coated black. I pick mine up from LAM Friday.

Crampin' my style! Congrats it sure will be a pretty rig. I'm still running the 21 pitch Saltwater Series 2. Performance numbers are still same as posted above. This prop carries a load very well. I will be testing a VMAX Ventless series prop very soon. I have the prop but I'm waiting on some required prop mounting hardware that is back ordered before I can try it out. Dalton Kenner and a Yamaha rep ran this prop that I'm waiting to try out and reported a 3-4 mph increase in cruise speed and top end over the Saltwater Series 2. The load was 2 people and full tank of fuel, nothing else on the boat. I'm going to test this prop on my rig which has trolling motor, power pole, ice chest, Cajun anchor, fishing gear, etc. to see how it performs with a true fishing load.
