Xpress hyper lift

I got hit from behind and wrecked my boat. So now I am looking for a replacement. I had an xpress duck boat 16 ft, I am going look at the hyper lift series tmrw but after seeing the cross section of the hull it appears to be a lot more of a V than the one I had. So my question is how shallow will this boat be able to idol through and float. My old one could get it done in a foot or maybe little less. But I had float pods on it. The hyper lift has built in float pods but has the V hull. Does anybody have this boat or a friend who does and know this answer?

I have a 22ft excel bay pro...(basically the same hull as the Xpress hyper lift), and I can float/idle in less than a foot of water. I can get on a plane in 18" or so. I've run on plane in less than a foot also. Kicking up mud but didn't stop.

I has an x54 with hyperlift and drafted about a foot.
