Heading to Grand Isle for week of Fishing - Topwater?

The guys and sons are heading to GI for a week of fishing and getting away from the women for awhile.

I want to fish top water which I have never done. I know you have to go early, have calm wind and nice water.

Where on GI would be the best place to try? I figure around the rocks where the trout are waiting to ambush bait. Maybe over the oyster reefs?

Has anyone heard of any reports?

Chug Bug chrome/chartreuse, chrome/hot pink

Brother was there yesterday and said water was dirty in the surf. May have to use some live bait to get em going.
