H&R Handy Rifle
 

Does anyone know if H&R fixed their glitch of the handy rifle not firing? Talked to a gunsmith in October and he said he wouldn't sell them right now because of people returning them for not firing. He said the H&R rep told him they received thousands of complaints about it.

Haven't heard of this, I own 3 & not a problem, plus know a BUNCH of guys that shoot them no problems there either. ?????

I think it was the newer ones. I went in and asked if he had any, and he said if he did he wouldn't sell it to me anyway and that he doesn't do business like that. I'll check with him again when I get home. The place is Hunt's Guns in Jennings.

i have one that was bought in Dec, shoots fine.

I want the .35 Whelen barrel, Ms made it legal for .35 cal & larger for primitive weapon
