Another Grosse Savanne report

About a month ago I booked a trip for my dad and myself, and man did we have a fun trip this morning to Grosse Savanne Millers lake. we started fishing about 630 this morning using buzzbaits and weightless flukes, right out of the gate we started whacking them pretty good. we stayed with those baits most of the morning until the sun started peeking through the cloud cover. once the sun was shining a bit we started flipping the heavy brush tops and had great success doing that as well. when it came time to call it quits, we had put 85 in the boat and had opportunities at other fish that we just didn't get a good hook set on. we didn't catch any really big fish, but we wore the 2.5 and 3 pounders smooth out though! the biggest was probably about 5 pounds, and we caught a few over 4 pounds. this is a great place to bring a kid and introduce them to the sport of fishing, trust me they will not be bored or get discouraged, your gonna catch em!

Thanks "W" for recommending Greg as our guide!
