we got smoked on the Wall roday 14 Dec

We had received word that the wall had been doing good come the late evening hours. Figured we would give it a try and was on our first spot come 1545ish. immediately started catching, but they were all small. moved around throughout the evening but nothing changed. At the end of the day we ended up with 6 trout in the box and tagged 29 trout and one redfish.

What a beautiful day to get "smoked" we could all be so lucky.
Thanks for the report.

You have a great point... I guess smoked is the wrong word to use. we caught plenty of fish, and that within its self is a great thing. Thanks for keeping me n-check :)

Oh yea one big key point that I forgot to mention. The 30" redfish that I caught on a 3/8 oz jig head with a matrix Creole had two separate hooks in him. In my book that is one lucky redfish to be hooked twice and snap the line off, then finally get hooked just to be tagged and released.

Great day

haha right?! Hopefully, now he'll be recaptured and released for the rest of his life to get that data!
