12-01-11 Two Man Limit

Hit the water this morning with Ray and we heading to my little spot in Moss Lake cause Ray hasn't been there in a while. The wind was blowing a little and the water was not as clear as usual, but we managed to put a two man limit in the boat and headed to the house and called it a day. The bait of choice today was a TKO shrimp under a popping cork and a TTF killer flats minnow in TX shrimp color. I used a Bill Wiggins rod and a Stick 'em rod today and as always was completely outfitted by the Tackle Box in Sulphur. Ray final had to change his shrimp today after using it to catch about 60 or more fish is his estimate.

The tears in my eyes were freezing. 42 mph is too fast for the temps this morning. It was cold COLD COLD...

I'd rather fish the cold than the heat. It was just so dang cold for the first 10 minutes. I had snot running all the way around the back of my head.

No sympathy on being cold while running in the boat. They sell all the clothes you need to be comfortable all you gotta do is buy them. If its any concession I too get cold running down the lake but if we can work in it I know we can play in it. Good Catch!!!
