I'm not stirring the pot. I know some are in favor of CCA and some are not. My question is how many tagged Reds CCA released in the Grand Isle area verse other place?? I fish mostly V.Bay and still learning the Big Lake area. What are the odds of landing a tagged red? For the last few years all I have heard are tagged reds being landed in the Grand Isle area.

Not sure but in the past was told number of tags released in each area depended on number of members for that area......but it's cca who knows

Seems all the tagged redfish are caught in Grand Isle or Fourchon. You can def tell CCA favors the east side of the state! I promise you won't find anyone catching Tagged reds in Big Lake. Over the last few years CCA has made it pretty transparent that they don't tag and release on the West side.

I guess when you have tons of guys saying they will cook the tagged red and telling CCA F**k off, it makes sense why they do not tag and release on the West Side

Tagged redfish was caught in Big Lake in 2013.
