Reel lube
 
I'm needing advice on the best lube to use on your reels. I have some that need a little tlc.

get the Shimano Oil............Best

When talking with Shimano they said a lot of repaired reels they repaired had Hot Sauce in them

I use Shimano oil only....Works

I also use the quantum hot sauce and keep a bottle of reel magic in the boat. Reel magic is some good stuff

X2 I use both....reel magic really works well for keeping mono limp.

I like that reel magic I hit the reel and spool with that shat after I rinse my rigs off

I see alot of guys rinse there reels off after use..........This is the worst thing you could do..
#1 Reason....Traps water
#2 Reason....Pushes Saltwater deeper
#3 Reason....Add moisture inside moving parts
#4 Reason....Rust

YEA x2...Mr Ron always repairs my reels in no time at all.....and cleans them to detail.....

I hold them upside down if that helps and hang them up to dry......lol never thought about it that way though

How much would it cost to get some chronarchs cleaned and all the bearings changed. I got a bunch of them that are just completely wore out.
