Powerpole help.

I broke my 8 foot spike on my power pole and was wondering before I bought another spike if any way I could instal a 10 foot spike to my 8 foot power pole. It might look funny but a few more feet would be nice.

That spike is covered under warranty, and no.. The 10 foot spike would drag the water.

Call Power Pole, the have taken good care of me, and even covered shipping. A friend was going through Dallas I-35 and his Power Pole deployed. IT was a few feet shorter, it was covered under warranty, not sure what he told them, but got a new fiberglass rod.

Spike is covered under warranty. Call DHP and ask for Damon. He keeps them in stock.

I don't believe the 10' rod spike will be able to fit/replace your 8' rod spike. We broke ours a couple of weeks ago and called up PP and asked the question, we do have an older model. Think I remember that it was either the girth is different for connection or how it connects to the PP was the issue. Anyway just call PP and the replacement is covered under warranty.

Just noticed this past week that the black plastic housing around the spike was cracked. Called p/p and they said it was mainly cosmetic, but sent me out a whole new spike anyway, and told me not to send the old one back, just use it for a spare if needed. Shipped for free, got it in 2 day. Amazing customer service right der.

Thanks guys, I'll give them a call tomorrow morning, @natural light does dhp do warranty work for pp?

The black housing around the spike on my 10 ft blade is cracked in several places but I purchased the boat used. Do they require a purchase receipt for warranty?

they most likely wouldn't, but ask them if instead of sending you a replacement spike, if they would give you a trade in deal on a 10 ft pp swap out since yours broke.

after all, all they could say is no and even if they wont swap you, they might offer you a discount deal on a 10 ft pp

The spike is super easy to change, just 2 bolts. Like everyone else said, they will ship you a brand new one for free.

Called em up, very friendly before I could explain what happened he was asking for my address to ship me a new one.
