2nd Annual Savannah Hickman Memorial Scholarship Fishing Tourney
 

Guys and Gals,

I am hosting this annual fishing tournament again at my camp in Hackberry, La., on September 26 th. All the proceeds, minus the tournament payout, will go towards the Savannah Hickman Memorial Scholarship. Savannah was student at Sulphur High School when she was tragically lost in car accident. Her mother raises money through a non profit organization, and gives away competitive scholarships each year to seniors at SHS in her daughter's name. In addition to the fishing tournament, there will be live music, washer board tournaments, door prizes, a small auction, and lots of fantastic food at the weigh in. So if you have time please come out and have a good time supporting a great cause.

I attached a flyer for the tourney and how to enter. This is a 3 fish stringer tournament for both trout and reds. Sorry no guides can enter, but you can fish with a guide if you choose.

Just curious do all the guys in my boat have to be in the tournament or just me? I know it sounds silly but I want to sign up but got two other guys already fishing with me that day that aren't interested and I could see possible ethical questions with it.

It looks like its an individual entry, no mention of a team, in fact you don't even need a boat as stated.

Weigh in Location: 154 Sam Breaux Rd, Hackberry, LA
Entry Fee: $50.00/person Adult Division, $10.00/person Junior Division (12 and under), $5/person Junior crab Division (12 and under). Sorry No Guides can enter.

No Boat needed, can fish or crab off of wharfs at the weigh in site.

Prizes
Heaviest Three Speckled Trout stringer – win 25% of entries
Heaviest Three Redfish (under 25”) stringer - win 25% of entries
Junior Division- Heaviest trout-rod and reel combo
-largest crab (pincher to pincher) $50

Entry fee includes lunch and a complimentary Koozie. Door Prizes, Live Music and “refreshments” at weigh in. Small Auction to follow Weigh In.

Advertising Sponsorships (signs at the weigh in) are available starting at $100.00.
