99 Yamaha C40 Opinions
 

Looking at buyn an older 1548 with a 2cly Yamaha C40 motor is a 1999 model. Ive heard they arent as fast as the 3cly of course. but that they are very reliable. This true? any info will be appreciated. Thanks

good motor, had one for a little while on a 16 foot xpress sc, pushed the boat around 30-32 by myself, with fishing gear and two people it would do 27-28, but it would struggle to get on step when the live well had water in it

That would be awesome

My 3cyl 40 yamaha pushed my 15/48 39...thats 2 guys in the boat, battery's an fuel...that was a normal load speed...if theres not much in it you might see them speeds
