Do you think BL will be good tomorrow?

Do y'all think it would be worth driving 2hrs to fish tomorrow after this weather

CaptSI 04-06-2014 01:08 PM

No

BradleyPrejean87 04-06-2014 01:40 PM

Any other place to find some reds I really need to because I gave a friend from Illinois I've been trying to get red fishing for quite some time now

Clampy 04-06-2014 02:59 PM

You can prolly go and catch reds. It takes a lot to mess up them redfish. Jetties you will catch bulls for sure.

Spiral Out

CaptSI 04-06-2014 04:01 PM

Fishing has been brutal and will stay that way until the weather staightens out. That goes for reds and specs

they had a redfish tournament yesterday and half the field did not catch a red...

BradleyPrejean87 04-06-2014 05:48 PM

Guess it looks like our Best bet is to just drive down to the jetties and try to find some reds

I have no other choices I have to find some reds for him while he is down it's our only time

Bluechip 04-06-2014 06:12 PM

Bring plenty of bait and food/drinks and make the day of.

If your friend is able to catch 2 or 3 bull reds, that will be the trip of a lifetime.

BradleyPrejean87 04-06-2014 06:16 PM

I just thought of something what do you guys think about cypermore point I've never been but that is also an option for us any of you fish that area

"W" 04-06-2014 06:19 PM

You have a way better chance of catching fish around Lake Charles area like 210, Prien, or PPG canal

Than going get beat down at Jetties...

What kind of boat you running?

You will sink that boat if the swells are bad... that place gets rough in winds and strong tides

Unless it was calm I would not recommend going to jetties, last year we had a guy who attempted going in high winds and sunk his boat
There is a good thread on it...lmao we told him not to go but... some are hard headed

BradleyPrejean87 04-06-2014 06:31 PM

I checked look like the winds aren't too bad tomorrow but really thinking of going to cypremort point instead

Bdub 04-06-2014 06:35 PM

Gerald 04-06-2014 07:17 PM
