I ran into Zell Roland at a hotel in Ft Smith 2 weeks ago, he said there is some new crank bait deal coming out that he said was gonna revolutionize cranking. We talked for about an hour about lure companies and how they come up with all the crap they do. It was really interesting

It really is amazing the amount of designs the tackle companys have and keep coming out with new ideas. Spro is making a bronze eye shad.....will be alot like the frog but easier to walk. Check out tacklewarehouse on youtube they got a vid.

This is the jap version but you can get a better idea of the features and what it looks like. Seems like it will be almost as compact and light as a core.

bayouchub 06-29-2013 03:35 PM

I dont think thats the japanese version of the new ci4

Montauk17 06-29-2013 03:53 PM

Around 2 mins into the vid you can see it says ci4 on the side plate.

bayouchub 06-29-2013 03:55 PM

Yea it has ci4 componets but its made on the frame of the core 50 which the new chronarch ci4 is an all new design.

Montauk17 06-29-2013 03:57 PM

You have a source?

bayouchub 06-29-2013 05:05 PM

Wonder if this is what he was talking about?? For some reason I get all geeked up by new fishing innovations as it is fun to try and make something new…

I forgot where I read it but yum is making some type of umbrella rig that will allow you to fish any size crankbait at any depth you want.

Montauk17 07-09-2013 11:00 PM

If you're bored, Bassmaster has a good sneak peak. Looks like Garmin has some cool new units coming out. Also have some new Ugly Stiks that I am sure "W" will be throwing pretty soon.
