Thanksgiving Day Goblers
 
So whos gonna be frying Turkeys for Thanksgiving this year? That seems to be the only way we have done it for the past 10 years or so. What are some of the seasonings ya'll use to inject or stuff in the turkey?

i will... tony's and garlic powder on the outside and a top secret p-13 classified injectible/marinade..... its got a little of this and a little of that.. gonna try to fry a few ducks this year also... gonna give it a test run before thanksgiving though.... 9 days !!!!!!!!

Inject it with some 151 and lime juice. LMAO Just jokin, we use Cajun Injector Butter Garlic recipe.

Next time yall fry turkeys take a backstrap about 10 inches long and inject it the same way as the turkey and fry it whole. man it comes out awesome.

I'm going to smoke a turkey for around 2 or 3 hours over some apple wood then drop it into the cottonseed oil to finish!

thats what we use to fry our turkeys
