Trail cams
Thinking of using some new trail cams this year. What's y'all's opinions on what's out on the market now?

Hunten makes a pretty affordable and reliable camera

I've heard some good reviews on the Spypoint cameras... I haven't used them yet but they seem pretty reasonably priced and I'll probably pick up a couple of them if I can get on a lease this year... I've always had pretty good luck with the Moultrie cams also... they don't last forever but they do pretty good for a few years.

I've been happy with the Primos Truth Cam line, but I'm sure there are other folks that will say they're junk.
I read bowhunting.com and folks there are always recommending Covert cameras. I don't know about the newer line, but I have a couple of older WGI cams and they take good pictures, but have a horribly slow trigger. |
I've had dozens of cameras from top to bottom. I have 5 right now, 4 different cameras. 2 are the Primos Blackouts, they are awesome! It has no lights at all. Deer have no clue it's there.

Do not have a trail type cam but I have heard about a type that when a pic is taken it will send an text photo or email to your mobile device showing the photo. That would be a cool feature to have.

they all break. with the humidity here dont expect them to last forever. by a mid tier under 200 camera like primos or moultrie. i had best luck with primos 35. they dont take the best photos but you can tell what type of animal it is.
