This past week many of the catches include a good number of both speckled trout and sand or white trout. Most sand trout don’t grow much bigger than 2 pounds and in my opinion pound for pound fight much harder than a speckled trout. Fried up fresh sand trout is great table fare. We have seen several bigger speckled trout both during the day and on the night stalker. Limits of Redfish continue to come to the dock everyday mostly on live bait. DO NOT MISS fishing here on our lake during September and October. Not only is the fishing great it’s tends to be a little cooler on the water.
