Boudin anybody ????????
I am looking to make alligator , crawfish boudin....Not interested in recipe for seasoning actually , just how much rice to meat is used ...Best I could find is 1 cup raw rice to 1 pound meat....I had crawfish boudin from Scott and from Krotz Springs and both were great but Krotz Springs seemed to have more rice...I made some redfish , gator boudin a few years ago but find I was short on rice....Thanks in advance.....

Don't over think it man. Rice is cheap cook a big pot full add and mix as needed till ya think it looks right. Cook more than ya think ya need ya can use it in other things. 1 cup per lb is a starting place cook extra. better to cook more than ya need than not enough and when ya get it right for you write it down.

Used 1 cup raw rice to pound and it came out great on the grill.....
