spent a couple hours in lake Henderson this afternoon, I don't fish there often but gave it a try after work today. I caught two undersize bass, a nice goggle-eye. a couple gar decided they wanted my crankbait but I denied them the pleasure of a meal! I didn't see many people out there, but it seemed like the water was low and the gar were everywhere.

There was a pretty big fish kill about a month ago.

I use to catch a few Sacks right where it "Y" over along the east tree line going north a good ways. Fish out 20 to 40 yards from the trees.

Getting a little close to my sunken trees. Did you watch me sink them at night? ;)

It has been many years since I last fished there. Those trees were not even seeds back then.

There use to be a few spots that had logs in the water. I could count on finding a fish or two at each spot.

I don't fish out there that often, but I tried fishing those piling and the trees out on the north side of I10 and I fished in between the islands.
