Here are a couple pics from my flounder light build. Turned out pretty good. Now time to try it.

What lights did you use?

Can you post a link if you purchased them online?

There's also a 3-way fitting you can use. Not sure where to get it but it would cut down on material

CHUM STAIN 08-05-2014 12:35 PM

Thanks. I used the oznium high intensity LED.

CHUM STAIN 08-05-2014 12:36 PM

I couldn't find the 3 way so I improvised.

sweet rig. similar to the first ones I biult. Here is a tip from experience.....Rig some sort of shoulder strap for it. I used the strap from my duck hunting blind bag and just tie wrapped it to the top and the handle. Being able to let go of it without it falling in the water is a very nice feature.

Thanks for the advice. I can see where that would be nice to have!

Nice rig chum! Is this your first one? On my first one I tried the white lights and they worked what I deemed as good, but when I switched to the green I thought it was MUCH better! Just food for thought and everyone has their preferences. Again, very nice rig!

Thanks NOFISH! I amost went with the green. May go that direction on my next build.

When we get to go together, I'll show you the 20 watt green. It's a game changer in my opinion. I'm bringing the gigging stuff with me to Orange Beach AL today, so maybe I can get some pics of it in action in some pretty water

Sounds good crab. Hopefully the water will get better around here so we can see them.

I think switching to green cuts through the water better like fog lights so you see better like putting on polarized sunglasses, it also makes your night vision better when you looking around at other stuff

Exactly. Really made a difference for me personally.
