Need a set of oyster tongs
 
My dad lost his prop and we were thinking about how to get it back i said I bet a set of oyster tong would work what do y'all think

That would work. When I was really young the same thing happen to one of my pawpaws friends and that is how they got it back. It was in the winter and the water was to cold to swim. Being its the middle of summer I would nut up and go diving for it.

There is an old oriental couple that work a bed in barataria bay. They walk their lease bare footed pulling a boat one riding one picking. The locate the ones they want with their feet and if they have to reach down with a lil chipping hammer to retrieve them. usually they pick them with their toes and catch them with their hands and toss tehm in the boat where the other one culls and sorts. The swap spots and do this all day. I aint been there in a couple years but saw them many times over many years.
