GOOD WEEK BETWEEN COOL FRONTS AND BLOWING RAIN

Fishing got a little tough this past week with a couple of cold fronts, blowing north wind and spotty rain to dodge on the lake. The good days with live bait proved to be most productive on solid trout and redfish. When the wind slowed the gulls were feasting on shrimp during an outgoing tide. Captain Mike Bares officially confirmed that this last cold front began the flounder run. Call 888.762.3391 and come over and catch a flounder to stuff with crab dressing. This will be our LAST week of morning fishing because duck season starts next Saturday. We will be booking our very popular BLAST & CAST trips beginning November 10th thru the end of the duck season. Call now and get in on all of the action here at the lodge. Oh. . . . . . . . . .and don?t forget Tina?s famous gumbo. Yum Yum
