Kayak capsizing and righting

My wife wanted our son to get some practice capsizing and righting the new Ascend 128T under controlled conditions with a parent close by just in case he actually has to do it in an emergency. I am happy to report that a 5'6" 14 year old boy that barely breaks 100 lbs can capsize and right this rather large (and stable) kayak without too much effort. He can stand up in it too, and with a bit more practice should become quite accomplished with lots of redneck feats.
