Pretty close to Gloster, MS. Talked to a guy this morning he said they heard a few this morning on a youth hunt not far from where I'm hunting.

That's right up the road from us on 33.

My father in law hunts around Ruth off of I-55, he seen 8 the last weekend of deer season on his food plot. He doesn't hunt them though. They have a standing agreement with a local guy...... he cuts the grass around the camp and checks on it a couple times a month and he can hunt the property for Turkey only.

Ditto! I suck at sitting there trying to ambush them - guess it's a touch of ADHD!!! When they talk, it keeps me in the hunt longer.

Haha yeh I'm a "run and gunner" myself. Especially being I have never hunted this place so I'm not going to be familiar with where they usually like to hang out if they aren't talking.

We had a pile of youths hunting this past weekend! Looked like recess in the camp yard! I think 10 youths hunted & all 10 saw gobblers & some saw multiple. Several shots among the youngens but no kills. Most of these youths were small like 6-7 years old. We have plenty of birds, they just aren't ready yet. Everything in woods is still brown, no green in sight, it was 29* Friday morning, if it'll start warming & sunshine they'll start talking.
