Great 3 days with Jonathan Windley and his dad Cecil

Fished Wednesday thru Friday with Jonathan and his dad Cecil. The guys haven't seen each other in two years. Jonathan came in from Arkansas and Cecil from N. Carolina where the trout limit is 4. Day 1 the guys were greeted with a fast and furious trout bite. They put 75 in the K2 along with 3 reds by 7:30. We searched for reds and bass for a while until the guys called it an early day. Day 2 we found 25 trout at our first stop and then we were off searching finding a nice box by the end of the day. Friday, the last day was supposed to be the toughest with the winds forecasted to be 20-30. I think it was the best day of catching. No limit early but tough to argue with 64 trout and 30 bass. Shrimp Creole Matrix on a 1/4oz Goldeneye jighead under a cork in the shallows and the new purple haze Vortex shad and the shrimp creole tightlined in the deeper waterways were the ticket. Give me a call if you want to get into the great action.
