Stearns Mad Dog Waders

Anyone have any experience with the the stearn's mad dog ducks unlimited 3-ply 200gr thinsulate chest waders? Found a hot buy on some and thinking of getting them. I would only use them maybe 1 or 2 duck hunts a year and maybe 1 or 2 wade fish trips a year. So not looking to spend a ton and dont have to be super tough. They are marked down to 60 from 130 and I just want to make sure they arent so cheap for a reason. Thanks.

P.S. - Gearing up for our hunt Raymond!

I have a pair still. They have never torn on me. I just bought new ones dur to the fabric separaing from the neoprene. I have them as back ups. They are 8years old.

Neoprene sucks. Go breathables and you will never go back.

these arent neoprene. it is a 3 ply canvas rubber canvas I think

If it is the 3 ply canvas I would recommend looking elsewhere. Received a pair last season and lasted a couple hunts before it leaked like a screen door along all the inner leg seams and boot joint. Repair was attempted but not successful. Using some lacrosse hand me downs and will definately make that investment when these go. These are in their 5 or 6th year.
