Calcasieu

River is clearing up every day. Hopefully good things to come. Went Friday for 2.5 hours out of White Oak and caught 18 bass. 3 were right about 2 lbs, the rest were about 10-12". All on soft plastics. I've never been that far north on the Calcasieu before, we used to fish by the 171 bridge and Watermellon bay for white perch, but that was over a decade ago.

The the first dead end cut past Serpent Bayou to the west, and in Serpent Bayou itself. Water is brown but fish are still there. The South wind right now is not helping to clear it up.

South wind bringing the water level up is what caused that I bet.
