Should I or Should I Not?

Trying to decide whether or not to go to Lacassine in the morning. What's y'all's advice?

What will you do otherwise????

You will never get the day back, so do what you like to do, or spend it with the wife.

Jchief you was of no help. Lol. That's my two choices and she don't care what I do.

That's next weekend. I'm gonna take her and our son to Lacassine to catch some perch.
I just don't know what this crazy weather had done to the fishing.

If i had to guess about the bass.... it would be lockdown until the sun peaks and temps start coming back up. That water heats and cools quickly bc it isnt deep. never know til ya go.

I'd be all over it!

Fishing all the way. I'd rather be fishing in the rain/wind than working any day.

I don't fish lacassine, but I would have to guess this front would slow the bass down, not because of water temps though. Just because pressure will be spiking and blue bird skies. But it could excite them a little since the water will be cooling off. I don't know the normal temps down there but I know in the black water here, the water temps been near 75 already.

Now for Indian Creek, where I fish, I think its going to slow them down just because water is so clear and they'll spot you fast with those clear skies.

Go for it! If i wouldn't have sold my boat that's where i would be headed

1fastmerc 04-19-2013 01:11 PM

I want to try to find a few bream this weekend so that next weekend my wife and son can catch a few.

If you want bream. Bring some worms and fish under a cork about 4 foot deep down the west canal. They are catching lots of bream and white pearch. good luck
