Vermilion Block! 7-8-11

Finally made the first trip offshore yesterday. Launched out of maxie's landing, and headed about 70 to 85 miles out, seas were 2-3s and never laid down. Didn't see not one cobia around the rigs, and managed to chum up some mangroves but never could get them to bite.:shaking: Ended the day with a 5 man limit of snapper, and 5 king mackeral.
Oh and the dates on the pictures is wrong! Last pic, thats what we were headin into from offshore, but never got a drop of rain on us! There was a little window right over Intracoastal city!!! |
