If it flies it dies:rotfl:

I sure hope it flew and not a water swat.

There's some boys that hunt some lakes in north Louisiana that kill some HUGE mallards and you just can't convince em they are pets and there all year:help:

One night me and 2 friends were frogging in Black Bayou and were running back home on plane. I had a spotlight on my head, checking out one bank and friend was checking out the other.
BAM, Muskovey duck smacked me in the head, throwed me out the boat. Lost my spotlight. They are attracted to lights at night, I guess.
We were on the West side of Gulf Hwy. DO NOT wear a light at night while running a boat down there.

:*****: there might have been if it wouldn't have knocked him out the boat, that is fricken hilarious

did you atleast catch the duck that hit you

Ray 01-06-2012 02:30 PM

It died. We left it there in the bayou.
We were in a 14 ft. flat with a 25 outboard. Wide open.
It wasn't as painful as it was scary.
Wide open, night time, get knocked out of the boat.

I had a buddy who stood up on the seat of the duck blind early one morning and a teal hit him in the head. Almost knocked him out of the blind and broke the teal's neck. That one went in the pot.

now i've had that almost happen one teal season in fenton about 5 minutes before shooting time sitting on a levee. A teal passed so close to my head i felt the tip of it's wing feathers on my shoulder. Needless to say i damn near layed down until the sun was out.
