Good friend of mine has a camp on the lake. Never caught many bass,do good on catfish though. Water usually stays chocolate milk. When the water clears up in grand lake the redfish can get good though.

Bass fishing is actually pretty good up the mermentau when water clears up and also do good off the canals off the lake even muddy water produces bass just have to fish them slow.

It's been really great here recently. Most of my friends on facebook that do fish, fish the lake and river. I'm always seeing pictures, almost every other day I'd say. They like to crowd the points. I've caught a little share of them in the canals that feed off the lake.
