Sabine River 2/16/2018

Fished 2-6pm with a friend. Caught 8 (5 legals but all released) on football jigs and worms. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d46cf900ae.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6ab3a0dcd9.jpg

U say five legals? Did u launch on La side. I thought if u launch on La side it's a 10 fish limit with no size??? Am I wrong on this?

I?m pretty sure you?re correct. I get confused out there trying to keep the Texas rules and the LA rules separate and correct. Silliness.

We just didn?t want to keep any that day.

If you launch in LA and stay in LA it is LA rules.
If you fish at all in texas then you follow the texas rules of 5 fish 12 inch for bass.
The main river is considered both and you are fine with LA laws it only comes into play when you leave the main river.
