Tough Consitions Fri & Sat

Friday with my good customer Petey Kern was tough. Our solid bite we had all week shut down today post front. The winds were brutal and the trout bite was near non existent. We covered lots of water with just a handful of trout. We switched to plan B soaking shrimp and still didn't have any luck. We made the best of s bad day, thanks guys for sticking it out. Big thanks to Capt RD Dupont for taking care of John Dongieux and crew on day 2.

Today I helped out Capt T on a four boat charter. I had a crew of two with me today. Our first stop was a bust, we made a move and started filling up the K2. Shrimp on the bottom had flounder, pup drum and Bay snapper coming into the Bluewave. We made a move and found a few bass, trout and a red throwing the Green Hornet Matrix Shad. The guys had a fabulous day filling up the box with a "Variety Pack Box". Brutal 25-35 mph winds today, but we overcame the odds and still put a great catch together.

I was in Cocodrie Sat. AM, the winds were horrific. We fished off a buddies dock instead of taking the boat out and only caught 2 drum and 8 sheep head.
