On river for daylight. Get to the first hole and immediately catch 2 on first two drops. Then an hour of nothing. Went to my hole in watermelon bay and didn't even get a bite! Really have not done anything there last few times anyway but that first one has been my best hole. Enough of this heading north, well almost. Was gonna just run to Dans bay cause have not had any luck in between watermelon and there lately but thought may as well try this one tree top I fish first. Put a shiner on about six feet under cork. Set it in water and current is strong so grabbed other pole to tight line with. Up in front of boat tight lining along branch where I usually catch em but nothing hittin. Look over at that cork I put in water and it's at back of boat being pulled by current but popping up and down. Pull up a nice white perch! Well an hour later #50 hit the box. Been along time since I had Crappie action this fast and even longer since I limited out on em on the river! Awesome trip!!! 60 shiners and 50 white perch. Was catching 2-3 on same shiner didn't matter if they were dead or not. Left em biting! Work will begin later cause have to clean em all, lol. Was planning on picking up all my freshwater gear for the winter and the way the morning started thought it wouldn't be long but now I'll wait, lol.

Them white perch came thru there thick as I ever saw em! When I finally started tight lining them after I set hook they would come to top of water running like a bass. They were full of it this morning for sure. Crazy feeding frenzy!
