Woke up @ 6am drove to big lake went check water temp , then meet buddies at camp . Hooked up to boat and launched boat @ 730 am. Checked water temp again 54
Took off but my power steering was acting up, so stopped and put some power steering fluid . Got back on step and headed to spot. Pulled up and saw way more boats in area than expected . So got on edge of reef and told every one grab a sparkle beetle . Water temp was 56.45544 and 4 shrimp popped in front of boat. Boated about 18 trout In 15 mins then 4 boats came around us.
Cranked up and headed away from every boat possible until I passed a reef with no boats.
Dropped trolling motor in water and started drift, hooked up and set anchor . Boated about 50 more and had our limit by 11am . Caught and released at water temp.61
Went to weirs to catch some reds but loaded with boats so went play

Water temp was 67 and we got tired so we came in.... Cleaned all the fish and water temp was 67.45

Washed boat and put back at camp and home for 3pm

Thats a great report and good to hear. Did you have to pick thru any small trout? Heard there were millions of 11" trout out there
