Nice catches. You had them dialed in. That's a good looking jig too. How hard are they to tie?

Its simple. You tube has a lot of info on tying. Here are some others I tied. The top left is from my boarder collie and the single on the right is squirrel tail. The dog and squirrel hair continuously moves like it is alive at rest. I use flashabou accent for flash and tie it in layers with dark on top and lighten the shades towards the bottom of the jig. I mix rainbow and red flash to look natural and injured.

They all look good. I fish some hair jigs, just haven't tried to tie them yet. Guess I may have to save some hair after my lab's and catahoula's next good brushing. The catahoula alone has about 5 different colors on her.

I use the hair off his hind legs. It is soft like down feathers. I got the bass pro jig tying kit. I also picked up extra materials off fly fishing supply sites. Be careful with dogs around. While I wasn't looking he took a chartreuse buck tail and shredded it. I couldn't fuss at him because he blood trails deer for me.
