WIND AND FLOUNDER THIS PAST WEEK FOR ANGLERS ON THE LAKE

Strong Southeast wind continues to blow for those fishermen testing out their skills on the water. Fishing pressure has been slim due to weather conditions. Our guides are finding good catches of flounder in the clear water on the south end of the lake. Guides Zach Mitchell, Travis Spicer and Darney Darnsteadt put their crews on limits of flounder and trout mid-week. Depending on water color the best baits have been watermelon/red and glow soft plastics on ? ounce lead heads. Hackberry Hustlers and Mirrorlure?s little john have really been good for flounder bouncing it slowly on the bottom. As the water continues to warm fishing should be breaking open soon.
