Looking to Get in a Duck Lease

I know some of you guys have the inside info...hook me up...me and two or three friends are trying to find a Duck Lease somewhere in the southern or central part of the state. Preferably with a place to put a trailer for a camp but mostly just want there to be ducks. We are all responsible hunters who respect the property we hunt on we are just fed up with public land. PM me if you know something

I'm more than interested. I hunt around that area and am looking for a new place for this year. If Meaux isn't interested, please let me know.

Gonna be hard to get a spot out there *****-Rich! Its my cousins blind he talking about. And it was the only blind that did well in the area. Guy that owns property prob has a waiting list of peeps. And 90% of the ducks u kill are spoonies. Good spot for geese though for sure.

man i know this one guy i could talk to. got a spot i used to hunt b/w eunice and lawtell. i gave it up when i got my place in Pecan Island. we did well out there. its some cypress lakes in the middle of the woods. full of teal during teal season, and good on fronts in big duck. we shot teal, woodies, mallards, spoons, greys, and even a widgeon or 2. if u interested let me know ill call him. real nice guy. prob would let u put a camper out there also. its $5k for a spot.

It's prob some of toughest hunting conditions in the state. But I have slaughtered ducks out there when I was in college. Talked to guy other day that still does.

Nah, IMO shell island is by far alot tougher to hunt. Especially if you try to hunt in the delta.

The tide is the toughest. I have had to push my 18' center console bay boat 100 yards to where water started after a hunt.

Yea you can't hunt times in those places, you have to hunt when the tide says you can hunt.

I'm interested in the cypress lake in the middle of the woods. PM me the information if you can.

Thanks.

Not to bust yo bubble BUT, any place that is worth paying top dollar for is already spoken for and will be almost forever. Guess you and your buds need to define mininum kill to trip ratio that would justify spending the $$$. If you hunt less than 30 days a season, it doesn't pay IMO, better to make a deal with a guide service for X # hunts and pay up. Then you and your money become an annuity to the guide every year. You call and book your hunt, walk in and walk out, with very little hassle. But, you can always gear up and hunt the refuge systems for free (pay other ways). There is some fine gunning if you put the time and effort in on our refuge systems.
