Very much so. I admire his dedication to the thing it loves. He has a lot of fun training and fighting.

Call me an attituon hog or whatever you want but why out of all the views so few replies? I see and reply to so many thteads of football, soccor, basketball even cheerleading . Yes I'm proud of my son. Nine minutes of trading punches versus chasibg a ball. I'll chase the ball. Hell I'll even shake the pom poms.lol

I definitely admire the dedication that sport takes. It's not my cup of tea, but I'd prefer my kids do that then spend school nights and the entire weekend at the ball park.

Nice job.... tough *** sport.

Well done!! Lots of training and a big heart.

He walked into that cage for just his second fight facing a 5/0 fighter that is going pro and he lost by split decision. For an 18 year old new fighter to force a split decision against a 26 year old undeafted fighter was not a loss in my opinion. During fight planning he was given a choice by his coach. You want a cake walk or a real fight. As you can see from the pics he chose the real fight. His opponent Zach Albritton is a really cool guy and had much respect for my Caleb after the fight. Caleb said that when they hugged after the last bell Zach said man your left hand hits like a F'ing sledge hammer.

That's a huge accomplishment. Congrats to him.

OK, yeah no pressure from the coach's side. I'm sure he's a good kid. He's listening to alot of people. But be careful Dad, if things don't turn around very soon...he will need someone to stop pushing forward, but instead start pulling back. Alot of pressure...alot of high expectations.

Point taken and it's a valid one. Coach Allen pushes his fighters but I don't believe he would ever let one of his fighters walk into a fight if he knew it was going to result in a pure beating. Coach Allen loves his fighters and takes care of them. I do understand your point though. My Caleb is 18 and has moved out. He's young and I give advice but ultimately the decisions are his to make as a grown man. He loves it too. He's the happiest when he's in that cage trading punches and kicks. Not the thing I would want to do but he lives for it. It makes him happy so he gets nothing but my support.
