wounded warrior fishing tournament
I work for Cheniere and we are holding our 4th wounded warrior fishing tournament on Sat Oct 3rd in Johnson Bayou. We are looking for donations, guided hunting or fishing trips to help our veterans. Donations are used to help veterans and family out in time of need and also to pay for lodging and travel expense's when they go on hunting/fishing trips. If you want to donate a fish/hunt trip it will be put in a drawing for the veterans or you can specify it be auctioned off to raise more money. This is a great cause and helps show our appreciation for there sacrifices. 100% of money raised goes to our veterans in Sw La and Se Texas. There will be free food and music at weigh in. Entry fee: $50.00 per participant
Sponsorship: $50.00 to sponsor a Wounded Warrior to fish the tournament Fishing hours: 6:00 am—3:00 pm Official Rules: ¨ All Louisiana game fish rules will apply to size and limits ¨ All fish must be caught on day of tournament ¨ Each person in the boat must be entered in the tournament ¨ Deadline for entry - October 2, 2015* ¨ Weigh In: Begins at 3:00 pm; fisherman must be in line at 4:00 pm to be allowed to weigh in ¨ Category weight will be per entrant ¨ Prizes will be awarded for largest three fish in each division—except trash fish division * 1st Place $500 2nd Place $250 3rd Place $50 * Door prizes for participants will be drawn after the weigh in * Food and music provided ¨ Categories - Redfish (1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place) 27” limit on redfish ¨ Categories - Speckled Trout (1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place) ¨ Categories - Flounder (1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place) ¨ Categories - Trash Fish (any fish other than trout or flounder; can be redfish over 27”) 1 largest trash fish - Prize $150 ¨ All disputes will be settled by the Tournament Committee ¨ Tie winners will split prize * Late entries must be paid before beginning of fishing hours the day of tournament to be eligible for prizes |
