Happy New Year to everyone! Wyatt has been doing really well lately. We had a minor setback yesterday when the doctors tried to increase Wyatt's feeds to 30 minute intervals. Obviously, this was a little too fast for the little man because he freaked out and dropped his stats. After that freak out his breathing support had to be raised by one liter. I'm hoping that this setback is only momentary and the boy can get back on track. Everything else is going good and he is continuing to gain weight. Wyatt is now at 3 pounds and 9 ounces and doesn't seem to want stop gaining. I hope the new year brings what the end of the last one did.... Good news! I hope the rest of you have a good year as well.

Wyatt is continuing his progress tonight. Doctors weaned him to 2.5 down from 3 on his vapotherm. We weighed him just now and he is at a whopping 3 pounds 14 ounces!!!! The doctor today hasn't seen Wyatt in a week or so and he was very impressed with his progress. If the doctors are happy you know he is on the right path. I'll keep the progress reports coming as I get them.

This is my youngest, she wasn't a preemie but she was diagnosed with "failure to thrive" at a month old. She didn't gain any weight until she was almost 2 1/2 - 3 months old. She was lucky and out grew it by her first birthday and is now growing like a weed, almost a little chunky and maturing right where she needs to be for her age. Hope all keeps going well for Wyatt and it won't be long you will be counting pounds, not ounces. That was a great feeling for us. :)

She had to have eye surgery earlier in the year and that is the second pic, you can see she has quite the personality!!

That is some truly fantastic news Lucas. Thanks for keeping us posted.
